HOW PHEASANT HUNTING AT GOLD MEADOWS WORKS
Planning a pheasant hunt at Gold Meadows is simple. Our Richmond, MN hunting preserve is open to the public, so you don't need an annual membership to enjoy a day in the field.
1. RESERVE YOUR HUNT
Choose a morning or afternoon hunting reservation and contact Gold Meadows to schedule your field time. Reservations should be made at least 24 hours in advance.
2. CHOOSE YOUR PHEASANTS
Hunters pay for the pheasants released for their hunt. The normal price is $30 per pheasant, with seasonal Pre-Buy pricing available for hunters who plan ahead.
3. BRING YOUR DOG OR HUNT WITH OURS
Bring your own hunting dog or ask about available professional guide and dog services.
4. EXPERIENCE THE FIELD
Hunt pheasants across varied Central Minnesota cover, including corn, grassland, swamps and cattails.

PHEASANT HUNTING FAQS
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO HUNT PHEASANTS AT GOLD MEADOWS?
The normal price is $30 per pheasant. Gold Meadows also offers seasonal Pre-Buy pricing for hunters who purchase pheasants in advance. For 2026, Pre-Buy prices range from $25.25 to $27.75 per pheasant, depending on when you hunt.
DO I NEED A MEMBERSHIP TO HUNT AT GOLD MEADOWS?
No. Gold Meadows Hunting Preserve is open to the public. There are no membership fees, guest fees or gun fees required to hunt at the preserve.
DO I NEED A MINNESOTA HUNTING LICENSE OR PHEASANT STAMP?
No Minnesota hunting license or pheasant stamp is required for on-preserve pheasant hunts at Gold Meadows Hunting Preserve.
CAN I BRING MY OWN HUNTING DOG?
Yes. Hunters are welcome to bring their own hunting dogs. Professional guide and dog services are also available for hunters who would like assistance in the field.

We are located 18 miles west of St. Cloud, Minnesota. About 90 minutes away from Minneapolis, MN and the Twin Cities. We offer fun family and corporate hunts at our hunting preserve. You can bring your own dog or we can furnish a dog and guide to make your hunt a great memory! Our fields are setup with great cover and are ready for you.
